Biography
The goal of my research is to understand how physiological rhythms change and relate to each other as a function of health and performance. Moreover, how do we control these rhythms and behaviors to improve athletic performance or to compensate for a illness of injury? Through the study of biomechanics and motor control in various populations, I hope to better understand the natural patterns in human physiology and behavior and apply this to better have a positive impact on health and athletic performance. My current research projects are student driven and focus on the biomechanics and control of human movement applied to dance, athletics, Alzheimer's Disease, aging, and other special populations.
