Biography
Sophie Adamson received her Ph.D. in French literature from UNC-Chapel Hill and joined the Elon faculty in 2005. Her teaching and research interests include French and Francophone writing and the intersections of literature, identity, popular culture, humor, film, media and social criticism. She is passionate about the scholarship of teaching & learning and the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching award from Elon's College of Arts & Sciences in 2010.
Research Interest
developing connections between students and French-speaking communities - both locally and worldwide via internet technology.
