Biography
My Elon experience has ranged from directing the Writing Center to COR Director to global professor. I have participated in short and long term study abroad, and done study away in NYC and Louisiana. I am completing my second tour of duty with Periclean Scholars, working in Zambia with both groups. Taught a range of writing courses, feminist theory, rhetoric, Irish literature, and Quest literature.
Research Interest
Currently working on research relating to study abroad and re-entry. Continue to work on critcial thinking and first year students, especially in finding ways to push them beyond their comfort zone
