Value Delivered With a passion for safety and implementing change to improve results, Matthew leads EMCOR Group, Inc.’s support initiatives in Safety, Quality, and Productivity in line with EMCOR’s Values of “Mission First. People Always.”. EMCOR’s strategic process approach, broad based platform of innovative initiatives, and effective communications campaigns has meant that the Company’s Safety Program consistently performs much better than that of our competitors. It also helps enable us to deliver the level of quality and efficiency that our clients demand and deserve. This is one of the key reasons EMCOR maintains high customer satisfaction and long-lasting relationships with some of the most well-known companies in the world. Expertise Matthew brings over 20 years of experience working in various roles of increasing responsibility in the specialty construction and facilities services industries. This experience includes holding many positions at several EMCOR companies, as well as his work with the leadership of all of EMCOR’s 75+ companies. This experience informs his efforts to support EMCOR operations in reducing risk, improving productivity and quality, and preparing for business continuity planning. Matthew graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in International Business from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, and later earned an MBA from the University of Utah. Matthew speaks fluent Spanish and has been an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. He serves on the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE) and as Adjunct Faculty for the National Electrical Contractors Association’s (NECA) Management Education Institute. The Personal Side Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, training, running, participating in community activities, and spending time relaxing and playing in the great outdoors.
