Biography
"Anna Feder has been working with film festivals in various capacities for two decades. Currently, she is a programmer at the BostonLGBT film festival. She served on the board of Press Pass TV for six years. She also served as the Networking Program Manager for the Creative Mind Group advising students and setting opportunities for them at the Cannes film festival. Previous to this, she served as associate director of the Northampton Independent Film Festival and was the director of the Boston Underground Film Festival for seven years. She currently serves as the Director of Programming in the Visual Media Arts department at Emerson College and curates the Bright Lights film series in the Bright Family Screening Room. She is affiliated faculty teaching an experiential learning course starting in fall 2015. Additionally, Anna offers her services as a freelance consultant to emerging filmmakers looking for assistance in audience building and festival strategy and with start-up film festivals looking to establish themselves with audiences and filmmakers.
