Sean Gaffney.

Biography

Sean joined Encompass in May 2015 and oversees the company’s legal function, including mergers & acquisitions, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and litigation management. He has an extensive background handling legal issues affecting healthcare providers. Before Encompass, Sean served as General Counsel of BroadJump, LLC, a developer of hospital supply cost reduction software. Prior to BroadJump, Sean was Vice President and Interim General Counsel at CCS Medical, one of the largest US distributors of mail order diabetic testing supplies and insulin infusion pumps. Sean has also held senior positions in the legal department of MedAssets, a publicly-traded healthcare services and technology company. He began his legal career in commercial litigation, primarily representing clients in the healthcare and commercial real estate industries. Sean received his law degree from Boston University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas.
