Biography
Dr. David K. Rosen, BS, M.D., D.V. M., serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of eNeura Inc. Dr. Rosen was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at MPM Capital. He served as Managing Director of Adjacent Health Technologies. Dr. Rosen founded Aratana Therapeutics, Inc. in 2010 and served as its President and Chief Operating Officer until August 9, 2012. Dr. Rosen served as the Head of Corporate Out-Licensing at Pfizer Inc., where he was responsible for spin outs and divestitures of deprioritized research and development programs and commercial products. He served as Head of Out Licensing at Pfizer’s and led efforts to divest of more than two dozen pharmaceutical development programs to both strategic buyers and financial investors. He held senior positions in business development in both biotech and large pharma and was responsible for the acquisition and partnering of clinical-stage small molecule and large molecule development programs as well as the acquisition of biomarkers, diagnostics and delivery systems to support product development. Dr. Rosen led product development teams in pharmaceuticals, biologics and diagnostics. He started his professional career in practicing veterinary medicine for nine years. He has been in the pharmaceutical industry since 1993. He serves as a Director of eNeura Inc. Dr. Rosen serves as a Director at AdjacentHealth Technologies as well as several not-for-profit organizations. He served as an Independent Director of Parnell Pharmaceuticals Holdings Ltd. from December 10, 2015 to November 28, 2016. He served as a Director of Ablative Solutions, Inc. He is a healthcare executive with over 30 years experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He earned a Board Certification in Feline Practice from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in Bacteriology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.
