Biography

Mr. Richard J. DePiano, Jr., also known as Rich, has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and General Counsel of Escalon Medical Corp. since September 25, 2013, January 1, 2008 and December 28, 2006 respectively. Mr. DePiano serves as a 1st Vice President of Delaware Valley Corporate Counsel Association ("DELVACCA"). He served as Chief Operating Officer of Escalon Medical Corp. from December 28, 2006 to January 1, 2008. He joined Escalon Medical Corp. in November 2000 as Vice President of Corporate and Legal Affairs. He worked with Forceno & Arangio, L.L.P., from September 1998 to November 2000 as a Senior Associate representing individual and business clients in various areas of the law including mergers and acquisitions, automotive dealership representation, family, small and emerging businesses, securities law, venture capital financing, consumer finance and general corporate and commercial matters. Prior to this Mr. DePiano was in private law practice since 1992. Mr. DePiano serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Industrial Development Authority. He serves as a Director of Drew Scientific Group plc since August 6, 2004. He has been a Director of Escalon Medical Corp. since May 9, 2013. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Valley Corporate Counsel Association ("DELVACCA"). He serves as a Member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He serves as an active member of both The Union League of Philadelphia and the Overbrook Golf Club. Mr. DePiano received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Widener University School of Law.
