Ravi Narayan

Biography

 Mr. Ravi Narayan is a Chief Executive Officer In Residence, Global Director, Managing Director, and Director at Microsoft Accelerator. As a Global Director, he will help Microsoft Accelerator become market ready in eight locations around the world and accelerate these startups that have or will raise institutional funding from VCs. He will also focus on scaling the startup acceleration model through global partners. He served as a Managing Director at Mentor Partners. Mr. Narayan is a part of the India Leadership Team. Previously, he has worked at various technical and management levels at IBM and Hughes Networks. Mr. Narayan's start-ups include American Systems International, Nextone Communications, and Astuto Networks. He is a Founding Member at PAN-IIT and on the boards of IT and telecom companies in India. Mr. Narayan serves as a Director at Microsoft Ventures. He is responsible for the Accelerator Program in Bangalore. Mr. Narayan has over 18 years of management and engineering experience in the corporate and startup companies in the telecom and IT Industry. Mr. Narayan holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and M.B.A. from University of Southern California and received his B.Tech. from IIT Madras.
