Biography
Dr. Leon Glass joined Ethos Laboratories as the Laboratory Director in May of 2012. Dr. Glass is board certified with the American Board of Clinical Chemistry, Toxicological Chemistry, and an active member with the Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT), The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT), and the Midwest Association for Toxicology and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (MATT). His educational background includes a NIH Post-doctoral Fellowship in Pharmacology from Case Western University. Dr. Glass has published original articles in peer reviewed scientific journals in the specialty of toxicology. Dr. Glass has over 20 years of experience in forensic and clinical toxicology laboratories, which includes being the Laboratory Director at two federally certified laboratories functioning as the Responsible Person. Dr. Glass has extensive experience and knowledge with sample preparation techniques and has worked as the International Technical Director for United Chemical Technologies focusing on developing new methodologies for sample preparation across many different matrices. Dr. Glass’ expertise led him to working as an inspector for both the College of American Pathology (CAP) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA). Dr. Glass is a welcome addition to the Ethos team and looks forward to providing you with the best laboratory services available.
