Biography
David A. Thompson has served as Lead Independent Director since March 2014 and as Director since July 2010.Thompson retired from Abbott Laboratories in 1995, where he served for more than 30 years in a variety of corporate officer positions including corporate Senior Vice President and President of Abbott Laboratories Diagnostic Division.Thompson was previously Chairman and Lead Independent Director of Third Wave Technologies Inc. and Lead Director of St. Jude Medical Inc. Thompson received his BS from South Dakota State University.
