Biography
Thomas D. Carey has served as a Director since April 2013. Mr. Carey is the Founder and Managing Partner of Perspective Group LLC, where he specializes in the recruitment of board directors and CEOs as well as in providing board effectiveness assessments for some of the most respected organizations in the life sciences and health care field. Before founding Perspective Group, Mr. Carey worked at Spencer Stuart, a global executive search firm, beginning in 2010. From 2001 to 2010 he worked at Russell Reynolds Associates where he served as a Partner and Co-Head of the firm's Global Life Sciences Practice for three years. Prior to entering the industry, Mr. Carey served as an Investment Banker and then Chief Financial Officer of both private and public healthcare and information technology companies. Mr. Carey earned a Bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master Degree in Management Policy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
