Biography
Dr. Sheppard, COO, is a founder of EyeRx Research, Inc. As a nationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmologic disease coupled with his training in immunology and preclinical science, his expertise provides a broad base for development of ophthalmologic drugs and devices. In 1995 the American Academy of Ophthalmology presented him with the Honor Award. By peer review he has been named one of the Best Doctors in America, in Virginia and in Norfolk. Dr. Sheppard served as an Associate Examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology for 7 years and is now a Mentor examiner.
