Biography
Damon McAlister is a Principal Engineer with Farr West Engineering. Damon has been responsible for the planning, design, and construction administration of civil and environmental engineering projects for over 20 years. His experience includes managing small to large multi-million dollar utility improvement projects comprised of engineers, geologist, archaeologists, environmental scientists, and planners. His engineering experience also includes tribal development projects which required working with federal, state, and local agencies. His style of honest, open communication allows him to create collaborative partnerships amongst the team members, permitting agencies, the contractor, and most importantly the client. Damon earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from the University of Idaho. He is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in Nevada, Washington, and Idaho, and is a long standing member of the American Water Works Association, American Public Works Association, and Water Environment Federation. Away from the office, Damon enjoys spending time with his wife and boys. His hobbies include outdoor activities, such as skiing, golf, backpacking, and fishing, as well as traveling abroad.
