Biography
Bradley Isler holds a Ph.D. in animal genetics from The Ohio State University. Dr. Isler is coordinator of the biotechnology program and teaches courses in human genetics, general biology and bioinformatics.
Research Interest
Dr. Isler's primary research interests lie in the area of agricultural genetics, specifically the relationships between genetic markers and economically important traits in cattle, swine and sheep. His past projects include studies of the estrogen receptor gene in pigs and scrapie susceptibility in sheep. Currently, Dr. Isler is studying the association between genomically imprinted regions of the genome and reproduction in pigs.
