Biography
Janet Vizina-Roubal is in the final stages of her doctoral studies from the University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine. She holds an M.S.W. from the University of Michigan as well as a B.S.W. from Ferris State University. Her recent professional focus has included technology-mediated social work practice where she has been called upon to present at national and international conferences. She currently serves as a member of the Department of Social Work’s leadership team and is an active member of the department’s curriculum, budget and planning committees.
Research Interest
Her clinical experience includes providing outpatient services to severe and persistently mentally ill specializing in DBT, depression, bi-polar, reactive attachment disorder, trauma within the school setting and anger management. Her prior work experience also includes school social work as well as substance counseling.
