Biography
Dr. Weaver conducts research on animal cognition using pigeon subjects. Dr. Weaver is also the current chair of the University's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
Research Interest
Dr. Weaver conducts research on animal cognition using pigeon subjects. More specifically, her research interests include conditions that affect stimulus preference (e.g., value transfer, work-ethic), the interchangeability of stimuli (e.g., functional equivalence, common coding), and the ability to discriminate between stimuli (i.e., differential outcomes)
