Biography
Salvador Maita-Zapata is a New Mexico Licensed Physician Assistant, graduated from the University of New Mexico’s School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant Program in 2007. Salvador is also a graduate of University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies with a family medicine specialty in 2011. He has worked at First Nations Community Healthsource since 2007. Prior to coming to First Nations Community Healthsource, he worked at University of New Mexico’s Health Sciences Center and practiced as a physician of Family Practice in Quito, Ecuador. Originally from Ecuador, he is fluent in Spanish. He has an interest in diabetes care, pediatrics and women’s health.
