Biography

Mr. Lino Anthony Saputo Jr., has been the Chief Executive Officer of Saputo Inc. since March 30, 2004 and served as its Vice Chairman since 2011 until August 1, 2017. Mr. Saputo served as the President of Saputo Inc. from March 30, 2004 to April 1, 2012. He joined Saputo Inc. in 1988 as an Administrative Assistant. He served as Vice President, Operations and Engineering at Saputo Inc. since 1993. He served as an Executive Vice President of Operations at Saputo Inc. since 1998 and served as its Plant Manager. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Cheese Division (USA) at Saputo Inc. from July 1, 2001 to January 1, 2004. He has been Chairman of Saputo Inc. since August 1, 2017. He has been a Non-Executive Chairman of Warrnambool Cheese And Butter Factory Company Holdings Limited since May 9, 2014 and its Non-Executive Director since May 9, 2014. He has been a Director of Saputo, Inc. since 2001. He has been an Independent Director at National Bank of Canada since April 4, 2012. He served as an Independent Director of Transcontinental Inc. since February 20, 2008 until March 3, 2017. He was Honorary Co-Chairman of the 2005-2009 fundraising campaign of the Sacré-Coeur Hospital Foundation. He has accepted to chair events organized by the Québec Cystic Fibrosis Association, the Fondation Armand-Frappier, the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal and the Fondation scolaire de Laval. Mr. Saputo has a BA degree in Political Science from Concordia University
