Maurits W. Geerlings

Biography

Dr. Maurits Geerlings, MD, MBA is Founder at Formula Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2009 and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Geerlings served as Vice President of Business Development at Prism Pharmaceuticals Inc. since October, 2007. Dr. Geerlings co-founded Actinium Pharmaceuticals Inc. and served as its Chief Executive Officer and President, where he was responsible for fundraising, research & development, government affairs and corporate development. He served in business development roles at Cephalon, Inc. and Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Dr. Geerlings has more than 15 years of industry experience, including a strong entrepreneurial background and business development expertise spanning cardiology, oncology, and neurology. He serves as Deputy Chairman of The Supervisory Board at ITM Isotopen Technologien München AG. Dr. Geerlings received his Medical Degree from The University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and his Masters in Business Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
