Biography
Dr. Ed Kuipers was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware where he attended Brandywine High School. He then graduated Cum Laude from the University of Delaware with a degree in Biological Sciences. Dr. Kuipers was also a member of the Men's Crew Team and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Societies while attending the U of D. He then attended the University of Maryland Dental School, where he was a member of Gamma Pi Delta Honor Society and Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society. Upon graduating in 2001, he also received the Academy of Operative Dentistry's award for excellence in operative dentistry. Dr. Kuipers then attended a general practice residency at Christiana Care and has been in private practice since 2002. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Delaware State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the New Castle Dental Study Club. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, skiing, and golf.
