Molecular biology of mesothelioma; AKT oncogenic activity. Use of genetically engineered mice to assess gene–environment interactions, the role of asbestos-induced inflammation in tumor development, and as preclinical models for selective drug targeting of cellular pathways underpinning human tumorigenesis.
