Biography

  Mr. Ronald J. Kuerbitz, also known as Ron, JD has been the Chief Executive Officer of Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc. since January 1, 2013. Mr. Kuerbitz served as a Member of Management Board at Fresenius Medical Care Management AG since January 1, 2013 until February 23, 2017. Mr. Kuerbitz served as Chief Executive Officer of Fresenis Medical Care North America from January 2013 to January 16, 2017. He joined Fresenius Medical Care in 1997 to lead its corporate development function. He has 20 years of experience in the health care field, having held positions in law, compliance, business development, government affairs and operations. He served as Executive Vice President of Fresenius Medical Care North America at Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGAA until January 1, 2013. He served as the Chief Administration Officer and Executive Vice President of Government affairs at Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGAA. Mr. Kuerbitz served as an Executive Vice President at Fresenius Medical Care Holdings Inc. and served as its Chief Administrative Officer since January 1, 2003 and Chief Legal Officer since 1996. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Fresenius Medical Care North America. Since 2011, he has served as the Chairman of Kidney Care Partners in Washington D.C. He serves as a Director of Specialtycare Cardiovascular Resources, Inc., KidneyTel, Inc. and Fresenius Medical Care US Finance II, Inc. Mr. Kuerbitz is a graduate of Albion College and received his Juris doctor degree from the Yale Law School.
