Biography

Dr. Brendan Frost grew up watching his father practice medicine in their Midwest hometown. He joined the Frontier Village veterinary team, and the Pacific Northwest, after a stint on the east coast with a large, 24-7 general and emergency practice.  He began his career in the animal care industry in 1999 as a Kennel Assistant. He then worked for 10 years before and during his veterinary studies. Dr. Frost completed his undergraduate at Grinnell College in Iowa and went on to graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. He most recently completed a rigorous general practice and emergency medicine internship in Charlotte, North Carolina before joining our team in July 2016.   He is most happy that his job affords the opportunity to work with pets and their families to provide care and extend a comfortable life for those that cannot speak for themselves.  His special interests include surgery (especially soft tissue), sports medicine, emergency care and behavioral medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Frost enjoys getting outdoors to take advantage of camping, hiking, running with dogs and being out on the water, whether it's canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding. He can also be found cooking and exploring new areas! His pet family currently includes his cat Kawnipi and we think another dog is in his near future!
