Biography
Dr. Wood is originally from Ohio, where he received his undergraduate degree from Hiram College and attended medical school at Ohio State University. He came to North Carolina to complete his internship, residency, and fellowship at UNC Medical Center, and has since gained over 30 years of experience in private specialty practice. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is affiliated with the American College of Gastroenterology, the North Carolina Society of Gastroenterology, and the American College of Physicians.
