Biography
Dr. Gibbs received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Virginia, where he completed his internship, residency and fellowship. He had an additional year of fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill. He has over 40 years of experience in private specialty practice. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is affiliated with the North Carolina Society of Gastroenterology, the American Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology and the North Carolina Medical Society.
