Clifton Albert Pemble

Biography

Mr. Clifton Albert Pemble, also known as Cliff, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Garmin Ltd., since January 1, 2013. Mr. Pemble serves as the Managing Director of NAVIGON AG. He serves as Managing Director of Garmin Würzburg GmbH. He has been the President of Garmin Ltd. since October 2007. He has been the President of Garmin International Inc. and Garmin USA Inc. since October 2007. He has been the Chief Operating Officer and President of Garmin AT Inc., of Garmin Ltd. since October 2007. Mr. Pemble served as the Chief Operating Officer of Garmin Ltd. from October 2007 to January 1, 2013 and Garmin USA Inc. since October 2007. He served as Vice President of Engineering of Garmin International Inc., from 2005 to October 2007 and served as its Director of Engineering from 2003 to 2005. Mr. Pemble served as Software Engineering Manager of Garmin International Inc., from 1995 to 2002 and its Software Engineer from 1989 to 1995. He served as Software Engineer at Allied Signal (now Honeywell International Inc.), participating in the development of earth-based and satellite-based navigation systems for general aviation. He has been a Director of Garmin Ltd., and Garmin International Inc., since August 2004 and Dynastream Innovations, Inc. since December 2006. Mr. Pemble serves as a Director of Garmin Australasia Pty Ltd. He has been a Director of Digital Cyclone, Inc., since January 2007 and Garmin AT Inc., since August 2003. He has been a Director of each of Garmin Spain S.L.U., Garmin Iberia S.A. and Garmin Italia S.p.A since November 2007 and of Garmin USA, Inc. since July 2004. He has been Director of Garmin Corporation and Garmin (Europe) Ltd since July 2004. Mr. Pemble holds BA degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
