Biography
Chuck Nugent joined GE Healthcare as VP Global Supply Chain in 2015, bringing a strong background in global supply chain and product management from a career spanning 30 years with GE. In 1983, Chuck started at GE Aviation, where he held manufacturing and quality engineering positions, including Madisonville Plant Manager and Structures Center of Excellence Quality Manager. Chuck then became a Master Black Belt, supporting the sourcing operation, which led to his appointment as Sourcing General Manager for GE Aviation procurement operations. Chuck was appointed Project General Manager, Military Engines, in 2003. From 2006 to 2011, he led the Small Commercial Engines Operation as Project General Manager. In this position, Chuck assumed responsibility for regional and large business aviation propulsion system programs. In 2012, GE Aviation named Chuck Project General Manager for the GEnx Product Line; soon thereafter he also took on leadership of the CF6 Product Line. In 2014, Chuck moved to GE Oil & Gas as Vice President, Global Manufacturing Operations. Chuck earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and his Masters of Science in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
