Biography
Thomas has been with GE for 23 years. He started his career in the Manufacturing Development Program immediately after receiving his Engineering degree from Boston University. He held various positions in the Supply Chain function in multiple sites across the Aviation, Transportation, and Energy businesses. He received his MBA from the University of North Carolina in 1999 and was certified as a Six Sigma Master Blackbelt in 2002. Tom spent 2003-2006 in Sourcing while living in Shanghai, China and Erie, Pennsylvania. In October 2006 he joined Inspection Technologies as the Global Supply Chain leader working out of Bonn, Germany. 2010 -2013 he served as the Supply Chain Leader for GE India and developed the Pune multi-modal factory. He led the Supply Chain for Distributed Power until he began his current role as Vice President – Sourcing for Healthcare in October 2015.
