Biography
Thomas Westrick is Vice President and Chief Quality Officer for GE Healthcare. In his role, Tom leads the business’ Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs organization to ensure our products get to global markets efficiently and effectively, as well as all aspects of patient safety. Tom joined GE Healthcare in March 2003 as Global Controller. In August 2010, he was named overall Enterprise Risk Manager and in June 2014 was named as a GE officer and overall simplification leader further expanding his breadth and scope of influence within GE Healthcare. His past experience includes working in a multitude of complex accounting and operational domains from SEC reporting to mergers and acquisitions. He has worked with a variety of multi-national public and private companies ranging from utilities to healthcare to manufacturing. Prior to joining GE, he spent 13 years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP in California and Wisconsin. Westrick graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, risk management and insurance; and serves today as a Board member of the University of Wisconsin School of Business - Diversity Committee.
