Biography
John Godsman is general manager of Business Development for GE Aviation. In this role, John is responsible for accelerating Aviation's growth through strategic acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures across the engines, avionics, systems and services segments. To date, John has overseen his team’s execution of 21 transactions aggregating ~$6.5 billion in value. In 2013, he received the Chairman’s Leadership Award for execution of GE Aviation’s business development strategy. John has also been a past recipient of the BD Performance Excellence Award.
