Ian T. Clark

Biography

Mr. Ian T. Clark served as the Chief Executive Officer of Genentech at Roche Holding AG and served as its Head of Global Product Strategy since January 2010. Mr. Clark served as Chief Executive Officer and Head of North American Commercial Operations at Genentech, Inc. until December 31, 2016. Mr. Clark joined Genentech in 2003. He served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Genentech, Inc., from August 2005 to December 2005 and its Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations since December 2005; General Manager of BioOncology and Senior Vice President of BioOncology since 2003; Executive Vice President of Global Marketing; Head of Global Product Strategy and Chief Marketing Officer of Roche in April 2009. He served as General Manager of Novartis Canada, overseeing all of the company’s country operations. He began his career at Searle, where he held management positions in both sales and marketing.
