Biography
Joseph A. Walsh became Vice President of the Virginia and Moored Training Ship Programs in August 2016, with responsibilities that include construction, final assembly, test and delivery of Virginia Class submarines, which is cited as one of the top Department of Defense programs. Previously, Mr. Walsh was Vice President for Nuclear and Modernization Programs, and Vice President for Operations. Walsh joined Electric Boat in September 2009 after a distinguished 32-year naval career, retiring as a Rear Admiral.
