Biography

 Mr. Alan Batey has been an Executive Vice President and President of North America at General Motors Company since January 15, 2014. Mr. Batey served as the Head of U.S. Sales, Service & Marketing for Chevrolet, Buick & GMC and Senior Vice President of Global for Chevrolet at General Motors Company from July 5, 2013 to January 15, 2014. Mr. Batey served as the Global Chief Marketing Officer of General Motors Company since July 29, 2012 until July 05, 2013. Mr. Batey served as Vice President of US Sales and Service at General Motors Company since June 2012 until July 05, 2013. Mr. Batey served as Vice President of Sales and Service - Chevrolet at General Motors Company and General Motors North America since March 2010 until 2012. Mr. Batey served as the Chairman and Managing Director of GM Holden Ltd. Mr. Batey graduated from GM's Senior Executive Program at Harvard University and holds a City and Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3 in mechanical engineering.
