Biography
Dr. John Faiz Kayyem, also known as Jon, Ph.D., founded GenMark Diagnostics, Inc. in August 2010 and has been its Senior Vice President of Research & Development since June 2013. Dr. Kayyem served as the Chief Executive Officer at Osmetech, Inc. He served as Chief Scientific Officer of GenMark Diagnostics, Inc., from August 2010 to June 2013. He served as co-interim Chief Executive Officer at GenMark Diagnostics, Inc. since July 2009 and its Chief Executive Officer from August 2009 to August 2010. He served as President at GenMark Diagnostics, Inc. from August 2009 to August 2010 and its Chief Scientific Officer from August 2010 to June 2013.
