Biography
Like many of my colleagues, it is my personal experience with cancer that drives my passion to change the way we diagnose and treat this complex disease that touches so many lives. As we gain greater understanding of the biology of cancer, we have an opportunity and a responsibility to develop tools that arm both physicians and patients with personalized genomic information to individualize the treatment of a patient´s disease. With the advent of biologics and new targeted therapeutics, the menu of treatment options for patients with cancer is growing.
