Biography
Shelly M. Hall, MD did her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Hall went on to continue her specialty training in dermatology at Howard University in Washington DC. On completion of her training, she joined Dr. Jerry Cooper in private practice here in Decatur in 1996. Dr. Hall has been certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is on staff at Dekalb Medical Center, Columbia Northlake Hospital and Emory University Department of Dermatology. She is a published author and is active in several medical organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Medical Alliance, the Rebecca Lee Society and American Medical Association.
