Biography
Dr. Truffini founded Georgetown Veterinary Hospital in 1981. He did his undergraduate work at Fordham University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his veterinary degree from Cornell University where he was awarded the Charles Gross Bondy Prize for excellence in clinical medicine. After graduation he completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, where he was recognized as Intern of the Year. He is a member of Phi Zeta, the national honor society of veterinary medicine.
