Biography

Mr. Jeffrey J. Keenan, J.D. serves as Executive Chairman at ACV Enviro CC. Mr. Keenan has been a Senior Advisor at Roark Capital Group since 2015. Mr. Keenan served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Oculan Corporation. Mr. Keenan was the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Roark Capital Group. He joined Roark in March 2006 and was Roark's President until he became a Senior Advisor in 2015. He joined Roark Capital Group in March 2006 and served as its President. He was active in day to day management of IESI from 1996 to 2002 and helped lead IESI from a small Texas based start-up operation into to the third largest solid waste management company in North America through organic and acquisition growth and through over 160 acquisitions, multiple equity and debt financings and a $150 million high yield offering in 2002. From 2003 to 2005, he helped lead a private energy company with a restructuring that included the divestiture and acquisition of US and Canadian energy related assets and operations. From 1985 to 1996, Mr. Keenan served as a General Partner and Managing Director at several large private equity funds, including AEA Investors, Inc. and Acadia Partners, L.P., where he had senior responsibility for sourcing and managing private equity investments. From 1983 to 1985, he served as a Member of the financial restructuring group at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Keenan was also the President at The United Company and a Managing Director at AEA Investors LP. He co-founded IESI Corporation and served as its Chairman from 1996 to 2005. He serves as a Director at GFL Environmental Inc. He serves as a Director at Waste Pro USA, Inc. and Green for Life Waste and Recycling Solutions Corp. He has been a Director of Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Inc. since February 25, 2016. Mr. Keenan served as Chairman of Oculan Corporation. He has served as a Director of more than 25 private and publicly traded companies such as DISA, Inc. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors of DISA Global Solutions, Inc., Pillowtex Corp. and Choctaw Maid Farms. Mr. Keenan earned a J.D. degree from The University of Chicago. He also holds an M.B.A. and a B.A. degree from The University of Chicago.
