Josip Rodin

Biography

Josip is our DevOps engineer responsible for internal processes involving a combination of development and operations, making sure that GIS Cloud infrastructure keeps working despite any day-to-day challenges, and that our users keep getting the benefits of new bug fixes and features in the most efficient manner possible. Josip is a proponent of open systems and open source software, with more than 15 years of experience with Linux systems. He is also a long-time contributor to world-renown Debian and Ubuntu software projects. His expertise in cloud security is an important aspect of creating a secure environment for GIS Cloud users. Josip likes to think out of the box, and his comments often ignite discussions and point to the alternative way of doing things, offering advice and food for thought that is necessary for the overall development of the working process.
