Robert Jansen

Biography

 Robert Jansen is a seasoned physician executive with more than two decades of experience. Before coming to Grady, he served as President of WellStar Medical Group and Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Medical Officer of WellStar Health System. Jansen holds a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Emory University School of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Kennesaw State University. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Barnes Hospital, Washington University. After a year of research at the National Institutes of Health, he returned to Washington University and completed a fellowship in nephrology. Active in the community and profession, Jansen is past president of the National Kidney Foundation of Georgia and Georgia‐South Carolina Society of Nephrology. He is a member of numerous medical professional organizations including the Renal Physicians Association.
