Biography

Dr. Leyda Callejas is an endocrinologist with Grandview Medical Group. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. .Endocrinologists focus on the treatment and management of endocrine disorders, ranging from growth complexities to diseases of the thyroid and pancreas. Dr. Callejas typically sees patients for: Diabetes diagnosis and management Hyper- and hypo-thyroidism Thyroid cancer Adrenal disorders Dr. Callejas earned her medical degree at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She completed an internal medicine residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX. When not caring for patients, Dr. Callejas enjoys spending time with her two dogs. She also enjoys reading fiction novels and watching movies.
