Biography
Tim Christman is the Director of Physical Environment at Granite Healthcare Solutions. He is responsible for oversight of all physical environment activities and projects. He also serves as a coach and trainer for activities related to ISO 9001, and all major accreditation programs including TJC, DNV GL, and Joint Commission International. Tim has expertise in all ISO documentation requirements and Internal Audit management and implementation, NIAHO physical environment requirements as well as requirements related to the Affordable Care Act (Value-Based Purchasing), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Conditions of Participation, and other related services.
Research Interest
Tim has spent a large part of his career with the responsibility for oversight and coordination of plant-wide health and safety quality control initiatives as required by the State of Indiana industry quality audit requirements. He spent two years as a Lead Surveyor and Team Leader for DNV Healthcare Inc., conducting ISO/ NIAHO surveys throughout the US. Tim attended Indiana University. He holds ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, NFPA 101 Health Care Facilities, and NIAHO Certifications. Tim is also a certified Aggregate Quality Control Technician for both Indiana and Ohio’s Department of Transportation.
