Tom Pollock

Biography

      Tom joined GreenBlue in 2009 and is Senior Manager of GreenBlue’s Forest Products program. Tom has worked on sustainability initiatives in the forest products sector for over seven years with a focus on the business value of sustainability. Tom’s responsibilities at GreenBlue include providing oversight and strategic direction for Forest Products programs, including the Forest Products Working Group – a coalition of leadership companies leveraging supply chain collaboration to address unmet needs in the forest products sector. FPWG projects have included providing guidelines for sustainable paper purchasing, value innovation for forest certification, and the web-based environmental paper assessment tool. Tom also focuses on consulting and client engagements through GreenBlue’s Advisory Services program on topics related to supply chain collaboration, life cycle assessment, and the development and implementation of corporate environmental strategy. Tom holds an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a BA in English from the University of Iowa.
