Biography
Known for his technical oversight on multi-faceted design projects, Tony has more than 22 years of experience in engineering, project management, design oversight, budget management and client management in the water and wastewater industries. Throughout his career, he has developed innovative design solutions for projects with complex technical problems, which benefit the client through reduced life-cycle costs. Tony serves as a valuable resource in the review and creation of content for construction drawings and specifications. He also provides assistance with submittal reviews and RFIs during the construction phase of a project. As a senior Water Resources engineer, Tony has comprehensive experience in combined sewer overflow storage and conveyance, pump station design, wastewater master planning, water treatment and softening, treatment plant rehabilitation and sewer rehabilitation. Prior to joining GS&P, Tony served as project manager for a national engineering firm in Louisville, providing management and technical oversight for complex design projects. While there, he led the preliminary and final design of the 2-mile-long Logan CSO Interceptor and 17-MG Logan Street CSO Basin projects for Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District. Additionally, he managed the design and provided construction oversight of the Crescent Hill Water Treatment Plant Softening Basins Rehabilitation project for Louisville Water Company. Tony is a registered professional engineer in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee, and is currently pursuing his P.E. license in Indiana and Missouri. He is also a member of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers. Tony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Western Kentucky University, and a Master of Civil Engineering degree from Norwich University. He currently serves as an adjunct hydraulics instructor for the Master of Civil Engineering distance learning program at Norwich University. Tony has one patent in water treatment and other patents pending.
