Bill Sommer

Biography

Bill plays an integral role in the process mechanical services offered to GS&P’s Industrial clients. He is a chief engineer with 30 years of experience in process engineering, mechanical engineering, project management, sales and consulting for a wide range of clients in industries such as food and beverage, chemicals, automotive, tire and rubber, aerospace, glass, metals, minerals, mining and plastics. With a project portfolio spanning the United States, Canada, Europe and South Africa, Bill is able to draw on a wealth of both domestic and international industrial knowledge. He is well-versed in process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment design and specification, start-up services, process optimization and control, pollution control equipment design, construction materials selection, evaluation of water treatment facilities and prevention of corrosion. Bill is committed to achieving successful results for his clients, helping them better compete in the manufacturing sector.
