Brent Hughes

Biography

For more than 15 years, Brent has been involved in the planning and design of healthcare facilities that focus on improving operational efficiencies and enhancing patient care. As a healthcare principal, his leadership and passion for medical planning and design has further elevated GS&P’s standing in the focus areas of patient safety, sustainability and international practice. Brent’s unique approach and involvement in the total design process yields innovative environments of care and strong, long lasting relationships. Brent is a member of the American Institute of Architects and Leadership Healthcare Council. He serves on the University of Tennessee College of Architecture Board of Advisors and on the Middle Tennessee ACE Board. Brent is a LEED Accredited Professional, EDAC certified and Lean trained. Brent has authored numerous articles for publication and is often asked to speak on various healthcare topic
