Dave Stills

Biography

Dave is a Senior Transportation Engineer in GS&P’s Transportation market, leading the Kentucky engineering practice from our Louisville office. He has served as a principal, senior project manager and senior project engineer on numerous projects for the firm’s Transportation Division.   During his 32 years of design experience, Dave has performed all aspects of highway and urban/rural roadway design, from preliminary plans to final plans, interchange and intersection design/modification, maintenance of traffic plans, utility coordination/mitigation and right-of-way plans. His expertise also extends to railroad design, roundabout design and design-build projects. Before joining GS&P, Dave served as lead designer and project manager on several major highway and development projects in Kentucky, Arkansas and Mississippi.   Outside of the office, Dave is an active member of the American Public Works Association (APWA), the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers (KSPE), the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and Kentuckians for Better Transportation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisville - J.B. Speed School of Engineering.
