David L. King

Biography

As GS&P’s Division Vice President for the Dallas, Richmond and Charlotte offices, Dave actively works with project teams to successfully deliver GS&P’s designs. His extensive experience with both new and renovation projects includes the aviation, corporate, and healthcare industries, and gives him the background to advise on a wide range of project types led by these offices. Dave is an active participant and past president of the Richmond Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He currently serves as Corporate Representative on the Board of Directors for the Southeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives and is a past chair of the chapter's Corporate Liaison Committee. In 2005, he received the Marcellus Wright Jr. Award, the chapter’s highest individual honor given to a member who has demonstrated continuous and notable service to the architecture profession.
