Biography
Gresham, Smith and Partners’ Devon Seal, P.E., ENV SP, a senior environmental engineer in the firm’s Water + Environment market, was recently recognized for her exceptional contributions to the engineering profession. She was presented the Engineers Foundation of Ohio President’s Award, the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) Meritorious Service Award and the OSPE Franklin County Chapter Meritorious Service Award. “Devon continues providing value to our clients every day in addition to advocating on behalf of the engineering profession,” said Al Pramuk, chairman and chief executive officer, Gresham, Smith and Partners. “Her collaborative spirit and dedication to advocacy is evident to all who know her and she truly embodies GS&P’s commitment to social, economic and environmental stewardship for the communities where we live and work.” The Engineers Foundation of Ohio President’s Award, the OSPE Franklin County Chapter Meritorious Service Award and the OSPE Meritorious Service Award were given in recognition of Seal’s commitment to furthering the goals and objectives of the Engineers Foundation of Ohio and Ohio Society of Professional Engineers. Seal’s environmental experience includes water quality services, airport deicer management study and design services, regulatory compliance audits, environmental site assessments, spill prevention control and countermeasure plans, environmental management systems, air emissions inventories, industrial cleaning and deicer management assistance. She has coauthored or contributed to 11 reports from the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) that serve as industry best practices. Seal joined GS&P in 2003, earned the firm’s 2010 Edgar Powers Jr. Memorial Award recognizing her leadership in the application of technology in her practice area, and was named an owner in 2017.
